Superego Cafe supports the George Claxton Trust

The Superego Cafe team has been busy over the last three months organising a fund-raising ball for George Claxton, a fifteen-year-old boy who suffered a rare spinal injury earlier this year whilst playing rugby. George was paralysed from the chest down and received treatment at Sheffield Spinal Injuries Unit before returning home. The Glitter and Gold Rugby Ball took place on 10 November 2012 at Ewood Park, Blackburn. Nearly 300 guests attended the Ball, enjoying a delicious meal by Northcote at the Rovers, winning a range of amazing raffle prizes, bidding to own some priceless items in the auctions and showing off the latest dance moves in the disco. The Ball was a great success, raising over £18,000 in just one evening. You can read more about the Ball on George's website.

Good luck George in all that you do!
